Clothing and General Requirements List

 

No items other than those listed below should be brought to the School

Any item not listed below and found in a student’s possession is liable to confiscation.

Parents should always seek clarification from their child’s Head of House before allowing items not listed below to be brought to the School.

All items must be clearly marked with the owner’s name.



 School Uniform

Non-regulation school uniform will be confiscated and replaced by the School with the cost debited to the student’s account

 Boys
 3 short-sleeved white shirts (All)    supplied by School only
 2 pairs of ash-grey shorts (Years 7 – 9) supplied by School only
 (not more than one inch below the knee)
 2 pairs of ash-grey long trousers (Years 10 – 12)supplied by School only
 2 pairs of black trousers (Year 13)
 1 x House tie                                          supplied by School only
 1 x black belt for trousers (small buckle)
 2 x pairs of black sandals
 2 x pairs of black leather shoes
 (rubber soles with heels that must be no more than 1 inch.)
 5 x pairs of white socks
 5 x sets of underwear
 5 x handkerchieves
 1 x raincoat
 1 x cardigan/jumper (plain grey or black only)
 (Hooded tops are not permitted)
 1 x Art overall                             supplied by School only
 1 x Lab. Coat (Years 10 – 12)supplied by School only

GAMES KIT

All years must wear school-issue sports kit.

Students representing their Team or/and House must wear Team or House sports kit.

Referees are empowered to prevent a student from playing if he/she is improperly dressed.

1 x lamp (Years 11 – 12 only) – (solar lamps or wind up, lamps particularly useful!)

1 x electric iron with three-pin plug

2 x dozen clothes pegs

Shoe cleaning materials

1 x native broom

1 x cutlass and hoe

Leisure games such as Ludo, Scrabble, Chess, etc.

1 x permanent marker

1 x Mathematics set (ruler; scissors; calculator (CASIO fx 991 (strongly recommended);

T-square; Technical Drawing, Rotring drawing board.

New line Poster colours; felt tip pens

1 x Holy Bible (Christians only)

I x Koran (Muslims only)

1 x set of religious clothes (Muslims only)

1 x prayer mat and rosary (Muslims only)

Musical instruments that the student plays, or wishes to learn to play

Laptop Specification:

§  Classmate PC / Palmtop PC

§  Memory 256 MB  and above

§  Hard Disk 20 GB and above

§  Network facilities ( LAN & Wireless)

§  Windows operating system.

§  No CD Drive either external or internal.
